SaleYokomo Super Drift SD 2.0 Assemble Kit - SDR-020
The SD series of tuning drift cars, which can achieve various specifications by reconfiguring parts, has evolved into the latest version, SD2.0. While keeping the basic design of graphite double-deck chassis and gear-drive RWD, a thorough review of the weight balance and changes to the front Ackermann ratio have been made to further accentuate the latest RWD drift style.
Features:
Variable transmission with selectable positive torque (4 gears) or anti-torque (3 gears)
High-precision aluminum rear bulkhead
Rear diff accessible by simply removing/replacing the rear bulkhead cap
Rear traction adjustable by differential height adjustment
Separate chassis construction allows bulkhead height change
Servo mounts closer to the rear for 3:7 weight balance
Ackermann ratio setting with new steering block for improved maneuverability
New lightweight slide rack
New rear hub carriers for improved rear traction
Graphite double-deck chassis
A graphite double-deck chassis designed with rear load in mind specialized for drift driving. With a slim silhouette and overall meat-free, it has supple characteristics.
Lightweight front circumference
Front section with a resin bulkhead. By finishing the front part lightweight, a moderate front contact feeling and turning ability are achieved.
New steering block
A newly designed steering block to optimize the Ackermann ratio and increase the steering angle.
Lightweight Slide Rack
The lightweight slide rack rails held by three bearings also contribute to weight reduction at the front. The steering response has been enhanced for sharp handling.
Overwhelming cutting angle
It achieves maximum cutting angles as standard kits and supports deep drift angles. With an almost parallel Ackermann ratio, it is possible to drive smoothly even on low-grip surfaces such as P tiles.
Rear-mounted steering servo
Servo mounted closer to the rear via steerlink crank. In addition to this, it also supports the conventional bell crank system and the front inverted servo mounting.
Split rear section
The main chassis and the rear end of the upper deck are divided to increase the freedom of setting the rear section. Good maintainability.
Battery mounted at the far end
The running battery is dedicated to short-size Li-po. The battery position is set at the rear end to increase the rear load and gain traction. The weight distribution is 3 in the front and 7 in the rear, which is suitable for RWD drift cars.
Weight towards the rear axle
The motor is designed to be high-mounted on the rear axle to maximize rear tire traction. The motor position can be rotated around the spur gear axis.
Aluminum rear bulkhead
The aluminum bulkhead is highly accurate and achieves high driving efficiency. By recombining gears, it is possible to choose between 3 gears (positive torque) and 4 gears (anti-torque).
Newly designed rear hub carrier
The new rear hub carrier has been redesigned to revise the relationship between the axle and the sus pin position and roll more aggressively.
Aluminum oil dampers and springs
The suspension combines the well-established aluminum vehicle height-adjustable oil damper with a special spring for drifting. The rear is equipped with a progressive spring as standard that absorbs vibrations and enhances the feeling of grounding.
