rcshopper started as a corner of a unit in Manchester with one lathe, a kettle and too many spare gears. The track came later, because we kept needing somewhere to test.
Why we're different
Everyone who answers your email runs these cars. Not "has read the spec sheet" — actually turns up on Thursday, breaks things, and orders the same spares you do.
That's the whole business model. We'd rather talk you out of a £600 chassis you're not ready for and keep you in the hobby for ten years.
What we stock
Forty-plus marques, deep on the drift side: Yokomo, MST, Overdose, Reve D, plus the hardware, bearings and consumables that keep them running. If we don't have it, we'll usually source it within a week.
If a part is on our shelf, it's because someone here has fitted one.
The track
Our indoor circuit runs weekly — practice nights, club nights, a monthly tandem comp and a coached beginner clinic. It's also where every setup sheet on this site was written.
